PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP

Check-in-and briefing

You will first need to ‘check-in’ at an organized meeting place. We are completely mobile with out a physical office hence, a representative will assist you at a designated location the day before you depart.  A team briefing will be conducted. During check-in, you must pay the balance with our representative to settle all accounts before boarding the boat. Please bring a copy of your deposit confirmation. It is possible there may not be any electricity to check your confirmation- after which will be the time for you to discuss any requests, issues or concerns. If anyone misses the expedition departure we will arrange a local shuttle boat so you can catch up. This costs about php5,000 to php10,000.

Packing List & Luggage

We recommend a 30 liter water proof pack for your daily essentials. This will be your daily bag which you can resupply from your main baggage which will be packed out of the way on the boat. Please try to pack light.

Waterproof pack essentials:

•    Sun protection (i.e. hat, sun screen, sunglasses and rash guard).

•    Towel/Sarong

•     Nalgene/ water container

•   Toiletries (i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and small hand towel)

•   Head lamp

•   Second set of clothes and swimwear.

•   Protection from insects and mosquitoes (i.e.  Lightweight long sleeves shirt and trousers and insect repellant.)

•    Thongs, Tevas or reef shoes.

Luggage & Storage

Sleeping Arrangements

We provide everyone with their own tent, if preferred. Sometimes we have local Nipa huts or you can sleep out under the stars or on the deck of the boat-weather permitting. Every evening we anchor and set up camp. We provide everyone with  fresh sheets and pillows. If you have any sleeping requirement please let us know beforehand.

Toilets & Showers

Our vessel has a common head (toilet) found on most local pump boats. You will find simple type toilets on the island with a bucket flush. Toilet paper is provided. We provide fresh water bucket showers at camping locations along the way.

Electricity and Charging Batteries

We have a battery charging system on board for charging USB plug in devices,. There  is no electricity on the Islands so  do not expect any charging  there. Also, headlamps will be very helpful especially at night, so do not forget to bring them!
